Title : A Case of Digital-Guided Hard and Soft Tissue Reconstruction in the Esthetic Zone: A "Restoration-Driven" Approach
Abstract : Implant restoration in the maxillary anterior region is a delicate and complex procedure whose successful implementation relies on a core prosthetically-driven philosophy. This concept requires treating the final restorative outcome as the blueprint—"beginning with the end in mind"—to inversely guide each step from preoperative assessment and treatment planning to surgical execution, thereby ensuring long-term stability in both function and aesthetics. In this case, the patient presented with a missing left maxillary anterior tooth and deficient labial bone volume. Based on these anatomical and aesthetic characteristics, the treatment team employed digitally guided precise implant placement combined with guided bone regeneration to achieve the restoration of aesthetics and function.
