  • Title : A case of alveolar ridge preservation and implant restoration after extraction of the left upper anterior tooth

  • Abstract : Alveolar Ridge Preservation (ARP) is a surgical procedure involving the immediate placement of bone graft materials into the extraction socket, followed by coverage with a collagen membrane or mucosal graft. This technique aims to reduce resorption of the external socket walls, maximize bone formation within the socket, and provide favorable soft and hard tissue conditions for subsequent implant placement.

Efficacy and Significance: ARP significantly reduces the resorption of both alveolar ridge width and height, preserving at least 85% of the original ridge contour. It creates optimal conditions for future implant placement, maintains the morphology of the soft and hard tissues, and enhances functional and aesthetic outcomes of implant-supported restorations.
