Title : Harnessing the Available: A Case of Onlay Bone Grafting with Delayed Implantation in the Anterior Mandible
Abstract : This case involved insufficient bone width in the mandibular anterior region complicated by florid cemento-osseous dysplasia. The harvested bone fragments obtained during management of the dysplasia were trimmed and utilized as autogenous bone block grafts to address the mandibular anterior bone deficiency.
The treatment combined orthodontic therapy to correct maxillary dental misalignment with a prosthetically-driven, guided implant placement of three implants in the mandible. This approach successfully resolved the issue of missing mandibular anterior teeth and achieved favorable aesthetic outcomes.
