Title : A Case of Immediate Implant and Immediate Restoration in the Esthetic Zone
Abstract : Implant restoration in the anterior region is a challenging procedure that requires careful consideration of both functional and red-and-white aesthetic outcomes. Immediate implantation, in particular, demands strict adherence to indications, thorough surgical and restorative planning, and step-by-step implementation to achieve results satisfactory to both the patient and the clinician.
In this case of immediate implantation, the patient presented with a medium smile line and a medium-thick gingival biotype. The preoperative guide was not designed with sufficient precision, leading to a positional deviation during surgery. This issue was identified and corrected intraoperatively, ultimately achieving favorable primary stability. Through the stable contouring provided by the provisional prosthesis, an optimal soft tissue morphology was attained. Follow-up after final prosthesis delivery demonstrated consistently stable red aesthetic outcomes.
