Title : SOS callin’ for rescuer in implant complications
Abstract : Most implantologists might had been experienced with dental implant complications such as abutment screw loosening and fracture of screw, abutment and fixture. Most of their incidences were occurred as emergency case which caused difficulties to those who never know proper kit and technique of failed implant’s component retrieval. In such cases, dentist have to send “SOS” signal for help. Nowadays, CBCT and CADCAM technology could solve problem of screw loosening in cemented retained crown by creating screw locating device which precise finding of screw head. Moreover, most of implant systems provide implant’s component retrieval kits such as Megyver kit which concerned as rescuer in implant emergency cases.
