  • Title : Immediate Implant Placement with Simultaneous Soft Tissue Graft Augmentation

  • Abstract : Immediate implant placement in the esthetic zone demands careful management of both bone and soft tissue to ensure long-term stability and aesthetic success, particularly in patients with a thin mid facial bone and periodontal phenotype. This case report describes a 36-year-old female who underwent immediate implant placement in the maxillary central incisor region, combined with simultaneous soft tissue augmentation using a single palatal graft. The graft was divided into a free gingival graft for socket sealing and de-epithelialized tissue for buccal pouch augmentation. Alloplast was used for gap grafting, and the implant was placed with a submerged approach. Healing progressed uneventfully, with second-stage surgery and final prosthesis placement completed over four months. At follow-up, the implant site exhibited stable soft tissue and esthetic outcomes. This technique demonstrates an efficient method for enhancing soft tissue volume and keratinization during immediate implant placement, promoting favorable tissue stability and functional results.
