• Title : The Hole-in One of Aesthetics.. Implants in the esthetic zone

• Abstract : Implant therapy in the esthetic zone is considered among the most challenging cases in dentistry. As the patients smile is the most noticeable aspect of appearance, even minor discrepancies in soft tissue color, asymmetries, or tooth projection may lead to significant esthetic concerns. Furthermore, an incorrect implant emergence profile, along with inadequate soft and hard tissue management, has been shown to compromise the long-term success of treatment. Among the clinical scenarios requiring rehabilitation in the esthetic zone, dental trauma represents a particularly demanding condition, as it often results not only in esthetic complications but also in functional and phonetic impairments, thereby directly affecting the patients social life. This case presentation describes the clinical management of a patient in their early twenties who presented to our clinic following dental trauma and had experienced all of these challenges. The case outlines the treatment sequence involving atraumatic extraction, hard and soft tissue augmentation, guided implant surgery, provisional restoration, and immediate loading, leading to a comprehensive esthetic and functional rehabilitation.
