Title : Comprehensive rehabilitation of the patient using All-on-4 technology
Abstract : According to the Global Burden of Disease, severe periodontitis was the sixth most prevalent condition in the world, accounting for approximately 11.2 of the worlds population, which is equivalent to 743 million people (Kassebaum et al.). The prevalence of milder forms of periodontitis was estimated to be as high as 50 globally (Billings et al.). According to current literature data, the number of patients requires comprehensive rehabilitation. When planning the surgical and orthopedic stages, it is necessary to take into account all factors that influence the prognosis of the level of bone tissue and the condition of the gums. One of the important criteria is the condition and quality of the soft tissues in the implant area. Therefore, this clinical case shows the result of changes in the condition of soft tissues before and after implantation surgery and dynamic observation for more than 1.5 years. We were able to change the gum phenotype and create the best possible conditions for the stability and protection of implants.
