Title : Gingivodental aesthetic solution in the anterior superior sector.
Abstract :
A 28-year-old female patient presented with severe aesthetic and functional compromise in the anterior maxillary region. Clinical and radiographic examination revealed dental and gingival aesthetic alterations, as well as a previously placed implant in tooth 12 with functional failure and localized bone loss. The treatment plan included explantation of the implant in tooth 12 and immediate placement of a new implant, accompanied by bone regeneration using allograft (human donor cadaveric bone), the L-PRF (Leukocyte-Platelet Rich Fibrin) technique, and sticky bone. In parallel, the unitary fixed prostheses on teeth 11 and 21 were replaced due to marginal leakage and misfit of the previous lithium disilicate restorations. Successful implant integration, the achieved bone stability, and the final prosthetic rehabilitation provided highly satisfactory outcomes in terms of both aesthetics and function, ensuring gingival harmony, a natural toothgingiva transition, and smile restoration. Conclusion: The combination of advanced regenerative techniques with state-of-the-art biomaterials and proper prosthetic planning allowed the resolution of a complex case with high aesthetic demand, achieving predictable and stable clinical results.
