2. Use of Information
Your personal information will be used for the following purposes

To register and verify your participation in MEGA’MIND

To communicate with you regarding MEGA’MIND details, schedule, and updates

To manage MEGA’MIND, including the administration of the rounds, scoring, and winner selection

To send you relevant information about MEGA’MIND and related events, including prizes and educational opportunities (e.g. MUST training program)

To fulfill legal any contractual obligations related to MEGA’MIND
3. Clinical and Patient Data
If you provide clinical data or patient information as part of your participation in MEGA’MIND

You confirm that you have obtained the necessary consent from your patients to use their information for MEGA’MIND

You also confirm that you have obtained the appropriate consent to use any photos, videos, or patient images for the purposes of MEGA’MIND

By submitting such data, you acknowledge that all clinical and patient data, as well as images, are provided with the full consent of the relevant patients and may be freely used, shared, and distributed by us for purposes related to MEGA’MIND (including but not limited to evaluation, presentation, and promotional activities)
4. Copyright for Submitted Papers
If you submit a paper or any publication that you have previously published as part of your participation in MEGA’MIND, you acknowledge and agree to the following

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the paper or publication does not infringe on the copyright of any third party

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the paper and that it does not violate any intellectual property laws

The MEGA’MIND organizers are not responsible for any copyright-related issues arising from the submission of the paper. Any disputes regarding copyright will be solely the responsibility of the participant
5. Use of Clinical Cases on Social Media and Publications
By submitting clinical cases, images, or any related materials as part of your participation in MEGA’MIND

You grant the MEGA’MIND organizers full permission to use, share, and distribute your clinical cases, images, videos, and related content on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms used for promotion and publicity

You acknowledge that these materials may be publicly available and freely used by MEGA’MIND for promotional purposes across various media channels without additional consent or compensation

Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that a casebook featuring selected clinical cases and presentations from MEGA’MIND will be published following the conclusion of the MEGA’MIND competition. The copyright for this publication, covering all included contents, will be owned solely by ©MEGA’GEN IMPLANT CO.,LTD and MG NEWTON

Only cases presented for 10 minutes or longer during MEGA’MIND will be eligible for inclusion in the casebook. Presentations shorter than 10 minutes will not be considered for publication, regardless of their content
6. Sharing of Information
We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who assist us in administering MEGA’MIND. These service providers are obligated to use your information only for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and are required to keep your information secure
In addition, by participating in MEGA’MIND, you consent to the publication and distribution of your name, photo, video, clinical data, and/or any other media related to your participation (including the competition results) through various communication channels, such as websites, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
7. Security Measures
We are committed to protecting your personal information. We implement reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal data. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security
